Our Story

Our story began in 2011 when we travelled through Europe as a family and purchased eight leather handbags. These were the first leather handbags we had owned and subsequently thought 'why cant we find affordable leather handbags in Australia?' So, after a glass of wine (or maybe two) Sorella Handbags & Accessories was born. The business has since evolved to provide a wide range of affordable bags that have been produced in Italy from 100% leather. Many of our 800+ bags have also been hand made by Artisans who, like ourselves, are a family business and have passed their trade on from one generation to the next.

We are online (including Facebook and Instagram) and if you live in Canberra, you are welcome to drop in by appointment. We understand choosing bags can be a difficult task and it's good to see them in person.
